About Us

Individual backgammon boards

My wife and I are passionate backgammon players. After searching the internet for a long time and not finding a board that met our requirements, I went into my small workshop and made our first designer board and the matching stones years ago. Friends quickly took a liking to my work and a business idea quickly developed. Since I was already familiar with wood, leather and various materials, I designed backgammon boards according to my customers' ideas. I only use high-quality materials, precious woods and self-made fittings, and the stones are also individual.

Each AT backgammon set is hand-made with the customer's approval and design suggestions. The materials I use can also be taken into account according to the customer's wishes.

As a rule, I use selected, very long-aged precious woods for the frames of the sets. There are many options for the interior design. If leather is used, I only use premium, ecologically tanned goat leather from Italy, which is known for its softness and excellent quality.

I also make the stones according to the customer's wishes. Each set is delivered with an individual set of stones. At the customer's request, the weight and size of the stones is between 15 and 40 grams per stone and can be made of different materials. For example, wood, metal, copper or brass, epoxy resin and leather in combination, which enables good gliding and speed. In our opinion, a perfect board has indirect lighting with integrated LED modules that generate a warm ambience.

The doubling cube is also custom made, made of leather and metal and color-coordinated perfectly with each backgammon set. In addition, each set includes dice cups in the appropriate size to ensure a fair game.
